Below are the safety Items you should use at various stages of your repair:
1. Goggles – to protect your eyes against
- Flying objects when hammering, drilling, sawing, glueing, filling, etc.
- Hot metal sparks when grinding
- Dust when sanding
- Airborne liquid when priming, painting and lacquering.
2. Gloves (heavy duty, nitrile, latex)
- Heavy Duty gloves for repair work
- Nitrile and Latex gloves for the more delicate work (powdered or unpowdered).
3. Overalls (paper, nylon, fabric). These lint-free overalls should always be used when spraying to avoid dust particles or lint settling on the wet surface.
4. Dust Masks to protect your respiratory system. The following levels of protection are available:
- FFP1 Protection
- Non toxic dust: cellulose, cotton, wheat, argile, vegetal and mineral oils… Anti pollution.
- Textile industry, food manufacturing, do-it-yourself, hygiene & cleaning.
- FFP2 Protection
- Dust such as concrete, cement, plaster (demolition, carcass work, sanding), soft wood dust (sanding, cutting), fine particles of paints and resins, plastics (blasting, sanding).

- FFP3 Protection
- Asbestos fibres in concentration < 1 fiber/cm3/h (handling of equipments, diagnosis), dust of rock wool, glass fibre (handling, insulation work), lead (paint stripping), hard wood dust, metal fumes.
